## Preface This book was originally a doctoral dissertation that was completed in 2018 at Durham University. Originally, it included an appendix chapter that did not fit perfectly into the flow of the dissertation. That section was published as a separate article in 2020, entitled "Origen and ' Angelomorphic Pneumatology'" with Vigiliae Christianae. It has not been included in this book. There are many people to thank for the existence of this book.
