This study evaluated the safety of expectant management for ectopic pregnancies. The study analyzed 418 patients with suspected ectopic pregnancies. Patients were divided into three groups: those who received immediate surgery (Group I), those who underwent unsuccessful expectant management and later required surgery (Group IIa), and those who had successful expectant management with spontaneous regression (Group IIb). The study found that expectant management was successful in 49% of asymptomatic patients
