This study analyzes the scientific attitude of backward-class women in West Bengal, focusing on the influence of age and marital status. Using a sample of 169 women from SC, ST, and OBC categories, the findings indicate that neither age nor marital status significantly affects the development of scientific attitudes among these women. The research highlights the importance of fostering critical thinking and rational attitudes to empower backward-class women in society.
