Maimunah bint al-Harith was a noble wife of the Prophet Muhammad. She was born in 594 CE to al-Harith bin Hazn and Hind bint Awf. Before marrying the Prophet, she was married twice, most recently to Abu Rahim bin Abdul Uzza. She offered herself in marriage to the Prophet, who accepted, and they married in 7 AH in Sarif. Maimunah was known for her piety, generosity, and devotion to Allah and the Prophet. She was the sister of Asma, Salma, and Zaynab, who were also wives or relatives of prominent Sahaba.
