Hassan Gideon Oluwadamilare completed a field astronomy course assignment where he located and described 15 control points around UNILAG campus. He recorded the name, matric number, department, course, location, GME number, northings and eastings of each point. Hassan then picked points between Senate building, gate, education, DLI, engineering and back to Senate building. He calculated the total distance of the route at 14.26 km to demonstrate his understanding of measuring distance in kilometers.
