What is Buland Darwaza: The World about?

Buland Darwaza is the main entrance to the palace at Fatehpur Sikri in India, built in 1576 AD by Emperor Akbar to commemorate his victory over Gujarat. It is the highest gateway in the world at 54 meters tall, and an example of impressive Mughal architecture. The symmetrical structure is made of red and buff sandstone decorated with white and black marble, topped by kiosks and spires.
