What is Clever Gretel about?

Gretel is a cook who enjoys drinking wine and tasting the food she cooks. When her master asks her to prepare two chickens for a guest, Gretel gets distracted drinking wine in the cellar. She eats parts of both chickens while waiting. When her master returns saying the guest is coming, Gretel lies and says the guest stole the chickens. Her master chases after the guest, knife in hand, wanting him to leave just one chicken. The guest believes the master wants one of his ears and flees in fear.
