Short-term slip tests and long-term creep tests were conducted on 100% zinc-metallized and 85/15 zinc/aluminum alloy-metallized surfaces. The results from these tests will help characterize the slip resistance of metallized surfaces according to highway bridge design codes in order to allow metallization of entire steel elements, including connection surfaces, without masking.
