Tyco engineers are testing the strength of a new wafer material under different temperature and supplier conditions using a 2x3 factorial design. Analysis of the data found that temperature had a significant effect on strength but supplier did not. Post hoc tests showed strength was significantly lower at 150 degrees than at 70 or 110 degrees. If reporting to engineers, I would discuss the effect of temperature on strength and implications for manufacturing.
