Ramu, a servant, is given two mangoes by his master to cut and prepare for a guest. However, Ramu eats both mangoes before the guest arrives. When the master calls for the mangoes, Ramu tricks him by saying the knife is blunt. While the master sharpens the knife, Ramu warns the approaching guest that the master wants to cut off his ears. The frightened guest runs away. Ramu tells his master the guest stole the mangoes. The master chases after the guest but gives up. He rewards Ramu with two more mangoes.
