What is VoIP 2.0: Integrating Web 2.0 Technologies about?

This document outlines a 2007 VoIP 2.0 project exploring the integration of Web 2.0 technologies and concepts with VoIP. The project will involve small groups working on short projects over 10 days each to: 1) integrate voice mail transcription on Amazon Mechanical Turk; and 2) explore elastic computing using SIP applications on demand resources. The goals are to explore new approaches, educate the community, advance the industry beyond replicating PSTN, and do "some real geeking".
