As a result, Echo could only repeat the words of others. 2) Narcissus spurned the love of several nymphs who fell for his handsome appearance. As punishment by Nemesis, Narcissus fell in love with his own reflection in a pool of water and died trying to embrace it. 3) Where Narcissus died, a white flower with yellow corona grew, which was named the Narcissus flower in his memory.
