About this document

London Zoo by Vogware Academy Jind is a document available to read on EtoBox.

Early humans saw fire as a divine gift and tried to preserve it by storing burning logs or charcoal. Primitive societies believed the first man-made fires were created through friction methods like rapidly rotating a wooden stick in a hole. These fire-lighting techniques continued in Europe and among other cultures until the mid-19th century when phosphorus was discovered, allowing the development of the first matches.
