What is Unlawful Occupation of Public Lands about?

This document is Republic Act No. 947 from June 20, 1953. It makes it unlawful to forcibly enter or occupy public agricultural lands through force, intimidation, threat, strategy or stealth. Any violations of this act will be punished by a fine of not more than 1,000 pesos or imprisonment of not more than 1 year, or both. For corporations or associations, the president, director, manager or managing partner will be held criminally liable.
