What is Utilizing Natural Phenomena for Community Benefits about?

The document presents information about frost in the high Andean areas and how local populations take advantage of this natural phenomenon to produce chuño. Frosts occur between April and September and cause a sharp drop in temperatures. To make chuño, farmers expose the tubers to freezing at night from frost and then to solar insolation during the day, which gives them the characteristic black color.
