About this document
Whole-Body Vibration Frequency Discrimination by Luis Favio Sanchez Rafailo is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigated just-noticeable frequency differences for whole-body vibrations between 20 Hz and 90 Hz. 15 subjects participated in experiments where they determined whether two consecutive 1-second vibrations were the same frequency. Vibration amplitudes were normalized for equal perception. Results showed that just-noticeable frequency differences increased linearly with frequency, from around 7 Hz at 20 Hz to 66 Hz at 90 Hz.
