What is Saatchi about?

Young British Artists (YBAs) were a loose group of British visual artists in the late 1980s who began exhibiting together in London. Many had studied at Goldsmiths College. They began holding unconventional exhibitions in warehouses and factories. The YBAs were known for shock tactics, use of everyday materials, and entrepreneurial attitudes. They achieved widespread success and media attention in the 1990s, largely due to the support and patronage of Charles Saatchi, who exhibited their works extensively.
