This study evaluated the response of popular rice cultivars to heat stress during critical reproductive stages. Eighteen popular rice cultivars from different regions were exposed to 38°C for 6 hours at anthesis. Five cultivars were also exposed to 38°C for 6 hours per day for 6 consecutive days at gametogenesis and anthesis.
