What is Life about?

The poem describes two instances where the speaker considers taking their own life for love - once by jumping in a cold river and sinking, and another by jumping from a high elevator floor. Both times the speaker reconsiders due to the cold water and great height, realizing they were born to live rather than die for love. The speaker concludes that though you may see their tears, they will continue living on as life is fine like wine.
