This document reports a case of fatal gastric rupture in a 19-year-old woman with anorexia nervosa. An autopsy revealed a 15cm perforation in her stomach wall without signs of ischemia. Her stomach was massively dilated, filling her abdominal cavity. She died of neurogenic shock from the gastric rupture.
