This case study examines the Credit Union Empowerment and Strengthening (CUES) project in the Philippines and its efforts to strengthen rural credit cooperatives. CUES worked with 11 cooperatives, providing financial management training using the Model Credit Union Building methodology and the Savings and Credit with Education program.
