What is Complete-Poems of Shangarakshita about?

This poem explores the expansion and contraction of consciousness and thought. When thought emerges from the unconscious mind into awareness, consciousness expands like light, illuminating new worlds. However, thought eventually recedes back into itself, leaving external objects of the mind bare as thought returns to its origin in the unconscious brain.
