What is China about?

China is working to transition to a more sustainable energy future by reducing its reliance on coal and developing cleaner sources of energy like natural gas, wind, solar, hydropower and nuclear power. The government is pushing for more efficient use of energy and increasing power generation from non-fossil fuel sources. This year China will add 110 million kilowatts of new power generation capacity from non-fossil fuels as it works to curb pollution and meet climate change goals.
