Frank Lloyd Wright was born in Wisconsin in 1867 and was influenced by his family and upbringing surrounded by art and nature. He worked for architect Louis Sullivan, who believed form should follow function. Wright went on to pioneer Organic Architecture, which seeks to design structures that harmonize with their natural surroundings.
