What is Trichoderma sp about?

This document summarizes a study on the antagonisticity and effectiveness of Trichoderma sp. in controlling the development of Phytophthora palmivora on cocoa pods. The study was conducted in two stages. In the first stage, seven Trichoderma sp. treatments were evaluated for sporulation capability and antagonism against P. palmivora in vitro. Trichoderma sp. T-G, T-E and T-D showed the highest antagonism. In the second stage, the effectiveness of individual and mixed cultures of these three Trichoderma sp.
