The study investigates multilayered nanocomposites made from poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and its copolymer P(VDF-TrFE) filled with nanostructured materials like graphene oxide and barium oxide for low energy X-ray attenuation. The results show that the P(VDF-TrFE)/BaO composite achieved a linear attenuation of 45.8%, which improved to 53.9% when layered with PVDF/rGO. The findings suggest that these nanocomposites can be effective materials for radiation shielding applications.
