About this document
Strike-Slip Faulting in New Guinea by Muhammad Satriyo is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document describes a study of strike-slip faulting in the Ertsberg Mining District of western New Guinea. The study analyzed structures exposed along two access roads to understand the relationship between deformation, intrusion, and mineralization in the region. Two stages of deformation are identified, with the second stage beginning around 4 million years ago and characterized by northwest-trending strike-slip fault zones.
