Study was carried out in order to study the most prominent vocational interest among the hijras and their acceptability by prospective employers. Employers / owners of three dance academies, three catering agencies and two beauty palours were interviewed. It was found that although said that they may accept a hijr, they still showed a lot of hesitance.
