Mızrak et al. utilized fMRI to investigate how the hippocampus and orbitofrontal cortex (OFC) represent task structure during memory-guided decision making. The study found that these brain regions generalize across decisions sharing the same task sub-structure, with a high correlation in their representational similarity.
