What is Oral Vitamin D Supplementation Is Associated With Full Enteral Feeding in Very Low Birth Weight Infants about?

This study investigates the association between oral vitamin D supplementation and full enteral feeding (FEF) in very low birth weight (VLBW) infants. The findings indicate that delayed initiation of vitamin D supplementation after postnatal day 13 is negatively correlated with achieving FEF and adding human milk fortifier. Earlier oral vitamin D supplementation is suggested to improve feeding outcomes in VLBW infants.
