This workshop compares the moment of inertia of two types of beams - a rectangular hollow section beam and an I-profile beam. Four scenarios were tested: the rectangular hollow section beam with a load on the weak and strong axes, and the I-profile beam with a load on the vertical and horizontal axes. The deflection of each beam was measured at increasing load intervals. The moment of inertia was then calculated for each scenario using the beam properties and deflection measurements.
