What is Bentham about?
1. A 1946-1948 study in Guatemala deliberately infected over 1,300 people with STDs without their consent. At least 83 participants died as a result. 2. An investigation found that U.S. researchers were given significant latitude in Guatemala with little oversight. They failed to obtain proper consent from study participants. 3.
