A blood drive benefiting the American Red Cross will be held next week at the school. Volunteers and blood donors are needed, with a booth set up during 4th period Physical Education in the gymnasium and the cafeteria during lunch. Cookies and fruit juice will be provided for donors. To donate blood, one must be over 110 pounds and in good health, noting any allergies to iodine, tape, or natural latex rubber. The body replaces donated blood plasma within hours and cells within a couple weeks. See Lana Lang
