This research article examines the relationship between environmental awareness and ethical consumer behavior among undergraduate students at Aligarh Muslim University. The study found that students generally exhibited a preference for socially conscious consumer behavior over ecologically conscious behavior, with notable differences based on gender and academic stream. The findings suggest the need for educational initiatives to enhance environmental awareness and promote sustainable consumption practices
