Tiger Grass Productivity in Bamboo Agroforestry by Openaccess Research paper is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The study investigates the productivity of tiger grass (Thysanolaena maxima) intercropped with different ages of bamboo stands in an agroforestry setup. Results indicate that tiger grass planted in a 3-year-old bamboo plantation significantly outperformed those in 5 and 7-year-old plantations in terms of panicle production and weight. The findings suggest that utilizing bamboo spaces during the early years of bamboo growth can enhance income from tiger grass production.
