Glen Shannon is a composer and recorder player from El Cerrito, CA who has won several composition prizes since 1997. He publishes his own music and has had works published internationally. Glen is active in the American Recorder Society, editing their quarterly music library and an annual composition for Play the Recorder Month. In 2021, he received the ARS Presidential Special Honor Award for his contributions to the recorder community in North America.
