What is Physical examination about?

Even in the specialty clinic of neurology, general physical examination is as important as neurologic examination, mainly because all health aspects are important for the patient and also because the neurologic symptoms are often related to systemic diseases in terms of clinical manifestation and pathogenesis. The general physical examination and neurologic examination can be carried out separately in this order, but it is often more practical to carry out the two kinds of examination together. Otherwise, a series of examinations from the top of the head to the toes will need to be repeated, which is not practical particularly when the time spent for each patient is limited in an outpatient clinic.
