What is Revised Market Lot for Derivative Contracts about?
The National Stock Exchange of India is revising the market lots for several derivative contracts on indices, effective April 27, 2018. The lots for Nifty 50, Bank Nifty, Nifty IT, and FTSE 100 will remain the same. The lots for Nifty Infra, Nifty PSE, Nifty Midcap 50, and Nifty CPSE will also remain the same except for Nifty Midcap 50 which will change from 200 to 110. Only contracts expiring in July 2018 and beyond will be revised, with earlier contracts keeping the existing lots.
