Alkydprimer is an alkyd-based primer certified to not spread surface flames. It is recommended as a primer for steel and aluminum structures as part of an alkyd coating system and can withstand dry heat up to 120°C. The primer has a flat finish and good flexibility. It is applied by spray, brush, or roller at a thickness of 30-50 μm dry. Alkydprimer dries fully in 6 hours at 23°C and can be recoated after 16 hours. It is supplied in 5 or 20 liter containers and its health and safety properties are outlined
