What is Infrared diode laser spectra of NaCl about?
The infrared spectra of the Au= 1 bands of NaCl at about 900°C have been observed from 365 to 390 cm-' with a tunable diode laser spectrometer. Transitions of the l-0, 2-1, 3-2, and 4-3 bands of Na% were analyzed in a single least-squares fit to a set of nine Dunham coefficients Y,. Y,c ( sz w,) and Y, ( s -0~~) for Na?I were determined to be 364.6985 (25) cm-' and -1.7745 ( 17) cm-', respectively, with the standard errors in parentheses.
