What is Daulat Khan Lodi and the Battle of Khanwa about?

Babur was the founder of the Mughal Empire in India. He was born in 1483 in modern-day Uzbekistan and was a descendant of both Timur and Genghis Khan. In 1526, Babur defeated the Lodi king Ibrahim at the Battle of Panipat, establishing Mughal rule over North India. He then defeated the Rajput ruler Rana Sanga at the Battle of Khanwa in 1527, expanding his control. Babur went on to defeat another Rajput ruler at the Battle of Chanderi in 1528, further solidifying the Mughal position in India.
