This document describes a finite element analysis of a 61.5 meter composite wind turbine blade. The blade is modeled as a sandwich structure with carbon-epoxy and glass-vinylester skins surrounding a PVC foam core. A stress analysis is performed under gravitational and centrifugal loads at 15 RPM. Modal analysis is also conducted for rotational speeds from 0-30 RPM to generate a Campbell diagram.
