The study surveyed the distribution and diversity of sea cucumbers in the coral reefs of the South China Sea, Sulu Sea, and Sulawesi Sea. Twelve species from four families and nine genera of sea cucumbers were found. The most dominant family was Holothuriidae with five species. The most abundant species in the South China Sea was Pearsonothuria graffei, while in the Sulawesi Sea the most abundant were P. graffei and Bohadscia argus.
