NCC Education began offering IT qualifications in 1976 and has since expanded to include foundation and business programs. It was originally part of the National Computing Centre but became independent in 1997. NCC Education now has over 45 country partners and five international offices that allow students to earn UK qualifications by studying through NCC Education
