What is Atty. Viola about?

Teodoro Chavez filed a disbarment case against Atty. Escolastico Viola for filing conflicting claims over a piece of land in two different cases. In the first case in 1966, Viola claimed his clients were lessees of the land, while in 1977 he claimed they were the owners. The Supreme Court ruled Viola violated his oath as one of the claims must have been false, and he failed to explain the discrepancy. Viola was suspended for 5 months for lacking honesty towards the courts.
