What is AYUSH Doctors and Allopathic Medicine Policy about?

The Government of India is aware that some States have allowed AYUSH doctors to prescribe certain allopathic medicines, as this falls under the jurisdiction of State governments. The Ministry of AYUSH has clarified that it is not considering a one-year bridge course to authorize AYUSH doctors to prescribe allopathic medicines.
