This study analyzed the phylogenetic relationships between 10 Durio species found in Malaysia using PCR-RFLP analysis of two chloroplast genes, ndhC-trnV and rbcL. DNA was extracted from leaves of 11 accessions of the 10 species. PCR was performed to amplify the target regions, which were then digested with restriction enzymes.
