About this document

Tracer Tests in Stuttgart by Rudi Fitrianto is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This document describes two tracer tests conducted in 1998 and 1999 in the karst aquifer of mineral springs in Stuttgart, Germany. Fluorescent and particle tracers were used to better understand flow properties and potential contaminant transport pathways. Maximum flow velocities of 53-230 m/day were identified, and the tracer tests demonstrated a heterogeneous aquifer with flow originating from the west and southwest. The results helped prove a boundary between low and highly mineralized water zones.
