What is Section 156 (3) CRPC - Google Search about?

Section 156(3) of the CrPC allows a Judicial Magistrate to order police to register an FIR and investigate a cognizable offense when the police refuse to do so. An affidavit detailing the complaint and prior attempts to report it is required to accompany the application.
