OPSS Overview and Database Integration by hareesh_jh is a document available to read on EtoBox.

OPSS provides a security platform for Oracle Fusion Middleware products that stores user roles, policies, credentials and keys in a policy store. The policy store can be file-based, LDAP-based or database-based. File-based policy stores are not recommended for production use due to inconsistencies. To configure a database policy store, the steps are to backup the domain, create an OPSS schema and datasource in the database, and reassociate the security store in the administration console.
